Even though Riot competes at the top level of women’s Ultimate, athletes pay nearly all expenses out of their own pockets. The estimated out-of-pocket cost per player to train and compete in this year’s season will be almost $7,000, which includes practice space, airfare, lodging, uniforms, gym memberships, tournament fees, coaching salaries, and team supplies. Players have been saving individually for this opportunity, but your sponsorship is vital to get us the rest of the way there.
Sponsoring Seattle Riot allows you to promote your brand and product to the national and international Ultimate communities, while affording Riot the opportunity to follow through on both our competitive and community-oriented goals. As a successful club team, Riot has a strong local following as well as a national fan base. Sponsors of Seattle Riot will be able to target the extensive Ultimate community, which is made up of more than a million youth, college, and club Ultimate players at the national level, and includes 10,000+ players in the greater Seattle area. In addition to reaching this community and our fans who tune-in for online streaming or ESPN broadcasts of our games, a sponsorship of Riot this year shows your support for Seattle sports in national and international competition.
Riot is committed to helping you find a sponsorship that best fits your business. Our sponsorship committee will be happy to discuss options with you. Please see our further sponsorship materials for further information.
