Karen "KB" Brimacombe #23

Now don't let her faux British accent fool you; KB is a born and bred American, coming to us from Michigan, Hawaii and Bellingham. Since getting her start in the Hawaii leagues five years ago, KB has made the rounds of the Ultimate community, from Alaska to Hawaii, Bellingham to San Diego, and even as far as Australia. In 2007, her blazing speed and infectious smile finally landed in Seattle, to be eagerly snatched up by Riot.

KB is a cutter and defensive specialist, never far from opponents’ heels and constantly sniffing out run through and layout Ds. Not distracted by her own defensive prowess, she doesn’t hesitate to immediately turn the afterburners endzone-ward in search of coveted bookends. Not only is KB one of Riot’s premier earners of defensive turns, she is also a phenomenally clutch player who loves the heat of competition, often finding her greatest defensive production against the most highly skilled opposing offenses.

When she is not on the field, she can be found exploring, ganging up on Weenies with Gretchen, or giggling. Ok, maybe she giggles on the field too. Master of the fake fall and always the life of the party, KB provides Riot with endless amounts of hilarity to go along with her incredible work ethic, selflessness, and dedication to continual team and individual progress.
