Erin "Gags" Gallagher #48

Erin Gallagher is Riot's resident mystery woman and chump-factor incarnate - full of very pleasant, and often hilarious, surprises. What do you expect of a doctor who shows up to practice in pajama pants and a shaggy pink winter headband, racing to swallow a gigantic mouthful of fast food before warmups start, with a creature in tow for which the term "dog" is perhaps a bit generous? Here in Seattle, we have discovered the answer - everything Riot ever dreamed!

Gags is the prototype of what Riot set out in search for in 2010 - a fast, athletic cutter with big throws, confidence, and buckets of experience. Not only is she one of the fastest players on the team, she can sky, she can huck, she can read the field, and she knows how to win games. Erin played at the University of Washington while toiling away at her doctorate from 2002-2005, helping Element to their first College Nationals appearance in 2005 - where they took silver. With the Seattle coed team, Shazam, she collected two National Championships (2004, 2007) and a bronze-medal finish at the WFDF World Ultimate Championships in Vancouver. With Gags finally giving up the coed lifestyle, Riot is excited to unleash this smart, well-rounded, perfectly unpredictable weapon on women's Ultimate.
