Emily Grad #54

Emily Grad, or E-grad as she’s really known, discovered Ultimate after moving from New Jersey to Seattle to attend the University of Washington.  She decided to play Ultimate only because UW didn’t have a field hockey team.  Her years of field hockey (and softball) prepared her well, as she picked up Ultimate right away and helped UW bring home silver at college nationals in 2005. E-grad was also a member of Shazam in both 2005 and 2008, when they took home bronze at Worlds and came in 2nd at UPA Club Nationals.

Despite her tweenie age, E-grad is mature beyond her years. Thanks to her calm demeanor on the field, she’s a cool decision-maker with infallible execution.  She’ll thread the needle with an IO flick and be up-field with the disc already back in her hands just a moment later.

E-grad always has a smile on her face, even during dreaded track practices, and is sure to please with her positive attitude and ever-classy jazz hands.
