Emily "Ebae" Baecher #43

Emily Baecher grew up living an east coast doppleganger life to Riot's Seattle youth Ultimate posse, picking up the disc as early as middle school in Amherst, Massachusetts. Under the mentorship of Tiina Booth, Ebae helped lead Amherst high school to two National Championships in 2002 and 2003. In 2004 she made the USA Junior National team, and the East/West coast powers of future-Riots Ebae, Shannon O'Malley, and Rohre Titcomb combined to take the USA Juniors to a silver medal in Finland.

In college, Ebae joined up with Surge at Michigan, transplanting from the east coast to the midwest incredible experience with teaching and learning fundamental Ultimate skills and strategy. As a well-rounded player and leader, Ebae's hucks, breaks and athleticism behind the disc led the team to three Nationals appearances and contributed to the continued development of a thriving women's Ultimate program in Ann Arbor.

After a few stops along the Club Ultimate trail, Ebae has finally arrived in Seattle for a reunion with former teammates Surge, Shannon, and Rohre to bring to Riot another power cutter capable of making the disc do her bidding at will.
