Caitlin Cordell #23

Caitlin is one of seven current Riot teammates born and raised in the Seattle youth Ultimate system (it works!), and one of 10 total WA State natives on the team. She played on the first Junior Girls Team USA in 2000, taking home a gold medal from Heilbron, Germany, and in 2006, played at Worlds in Australia with the New Zealand Mixed National team. Between 2007-09, Caitlin played with and captained Seattle's Viva and Underground as a dominant leader behind the disc, in the huddle, and in the jersey-design drawing room.

She's a persistently positive, creative force on the field and off, finding breakmark windows you didn't know existed, obnoxiously bending forehand hucks perfectly over defenders' heads, and revamping any song lyrics into an Ultimate theme - any time, any place, any song. Bring it. Caitlin's lesser-known talents include looking ridiculous in Ultimate photos, singing Justin Timberlake, and taking chain saws to large trees. Riot is excited for the leadership, creativity and grit that this Seattle native is gonna rep hard for us this season.
