2011 marks Riot’s eleventh consecutive appearance at the Club Championships, representing Seattle and the Northwest region with pride. The past two years have seen Riot bow out in the semi-finals in Sarasota, and this year the team is determined to regain the top spot on the podium. Our deep roster includes a veteran from the last Riot championship team in 2005, numerous players with national or world titles to their names, and a tremendously talented rookie class. We have benefitted from the incredible youth scene in Seattle and the team prioritizes giving back to the ultimate community through coaching, youth scholarships, and clinics. Traveling to as many tournaments as possible this season, we have amassed a 42-6 record during the year—only posting losses to our NW rivals Fury and Traffic while beating all the other top seeds at the Club Championships. Channeling the mayhem of our namesake, the 1999 WTO riots in Seattle, we intend to wreak havoc on our opponents with stifling defense and an aggressive offensive attack. Playing with fire and heart, we are ready to battle for the title.
