Riot 2010 Open Tryout!

Hi Everyone -

Because Riot will be attending the World Ultimate Club Championships in Prague this July, our tryout process is happening earlier than usual and will have a slightly different structure than in the past.

This process will begin with an Open Tryout on Sunday March 14th, so mark your calendar! The open tryout will consist of a number of scrimmages and evaluation drills and is open to women of any age interested in playing high level club ultimate this season.  Please note that players currently in high school are only eligible to tryout as practice players for the team.

Further details on times, location, and registration will be posted here in the coming weeks. For now, if you're interested in trying out for Riot 2010, send an email to captains@seattleriot.org to get your name on the contact list for more information.

Weekly Preseason Workouts

As an FYI, we've started sending out weekly workouts to the team and anyone on our tryout mailing list.  These workouts are entirely optional, but hopefully will help players plan their workouts leading up to the start of tryouts on March 14th.  Just another reason to let us know sooner rather than later if you're interested in trying out this year.
