The inaugural Pan American Ultimate Championships (PAUC) just concluded in Medellin, Colombia. The event combined an Ultimate Peace clinic (November 19-23) with a high level tournament with open and women's teams from all over the western hemisphere (November 23-27). Loriana Berman was one of the main instructors for Ultimate Peace's educational sessions on spirit of the game and promoting non-violence through sport. Bermi then played with the Colombian team
There's something uniquely special about Northwest Regionals. Every year is different as the location, weather, format, and bids-on-the-line change, but the energy and intensity that the tournament generates is always there each season. I can still remember getting my first layout D at NW Regionals my rookie year in the club scene and playing in a tight game-to-go is one of the most compelling situations in the sport today for players and spectators alike. I'm so excited that it's finally here!
The USAU Club Championships (aka Nationals) starts exactly 5 weeks from today! In honor of the final stretch of the season, we will be hosting a Thursday Trivia contest every week between now and then. Each Thursday one Riot Trivia question will be announced on our Facebook page. Everyone then has until the following Monday at noon PST to post their guesses.&n
