Riot has a rich tradition of supporting the youth ultimate scene in Seattle, including a long-standing scholarship to the National Ultimate Training Camp (NUTC) in Amherst, MA. In 2011, Riot expanded our youth scholarship program to include a partial camper fee for the Next Level Ultimate camp in Eugene, OR in addition to the full camper fee scholarship for NUTC. Riot also offers need-based scholarships to the Seattle Women's Clinic each summer.
Jointly organized by Riot and Underground, the Combine is Riot's only open try-out and invitations to participate in the rest of the team's try-out process will follow the Combine.

The inaugural Pan American Ultimate Championships (PAUC) just concluded in Medellin, Colombia. The event combined an Ultimate Peace clinic (November 19-23) with a high level tournament with open and women's teams from all over the western hemisphere (November 23-27). Loriana Berman was one of the main instructors for Ultimate Peace's educational sessions on spirit of the game and promoting non-violence through sport. Bermi then played with the Colombian team
