The inaugural Pan American Ultimate Championships (PAUC) just concluded in Medellin, Colombia.  The event combined an Ultimate Peace clinic (November 19-23) with a high level tournament with open and women's teams from all over the western hemisphere (November 23-27).  Loriana Berman was one of the main instructors for Ultimate Peace's educational sessions on spirit of the game and promoting non-violence through sport.  Bermi then played with the Colombian team

    • 2011 ECC Teams

    The field of teams for the 2011 Emerald City Classic is now set with some of the top teams in the world attending. The list includes 5 of the 8 quarter-finalists from both WUCC and USAU Club Championships in 2010. The tournament will be held on Saturday and Sunday, August 13-14, at the Skagit River Park in Burlington, WA. On Friday, August 12, there will be additional exhibition games held in Seattle at Magnuson Park among teams that were able to come early.

    ECC has a long history of being one of the top tournaments of the season due to the level of competition and creative formats, and this year we hope to continue that tradition.

    We are pleased to be able to announce Riot's anticipated tournament schedule for the 2011 season.  In particular, we are looking forward to making Riot's first trip to the East Coast outside of Nationals and are eager to see a lot of great competition at so many tournaments.

    After weighing thoroughly all of the great tournament options available on the Women's Club scene this season, Riot has set down the following tournaments for our 2010 schedule:

    Texas Shootout - May 15/16, Austin TX

    Cal States - June 5/6, Santa Cruz CA

    Worlds - July 3-10, Prague CZ

    ECC - August 14/15, Burlington WA

    Labor Day - September 4/5, Santa Cruz CA

    We're excited for the competitive opportunities that each of these tournaments will provide.
